My own journey with Bloom began as I faced a significant life-changing decision — the choice of where my own son would go to school. At the end of my maternity leave, this decision weighed heavily on me, and it was a turning point that led to the creation of Bloom. I recognized a need within our community, a desire for a place where families could entrust their children with confidence, knowing they would receive the highest quality care in a nurturing environment. We aimed to create a place that felt like a home away from home for both children and their families, where teachers were not just employees but valued members of our community who brought passion and care to their work every day.
As we grow and evolve, our commitment remains the same: lead in providing top-notch child care services while also being the best employer in the industry for early child care leaders and educators seeking growth within their field. We take pride in fostering internal growth and enabling our team members to thrive right here with us.
We are also committed to an educational philosophy that minimizes screen exposure for children under five. This initiative is based on extensive research highlighting the negative impacts of screen time on young learners. Instead, we focus on human-centric interactions, which ensures that our students are immersed in a learning environment that values engagement, creativity, and real-world experiences over digital distractions.

It’s a great way to learn more about Bloom Academy franchising, meet the franchise development team, and explore the unique value proposition of becoming a franchisee.
After the “Discover Bloom” Webinar, we discuss our franchise qualification criteria and ask you to submit a franchise application that helps us to quickly learn more about you and your qualifications to be successful as a Bloom Academy franchise owner.
Once submitted, we discuss the next steps in our franchise process and ensure that we’ve answered all of your questions before proceeding.
One of the most important steps in our franchise application process is the review of our Franchise Disclosure Document. The Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) is a legal disclosure document that the FTC, who regulates Franchising, requires the Franchisor to give to qualified prospective franchisees interested in buying a U.S. franchise as part of the franchise due diligence process.
It contains information essential to potential franchisees, and it is critical to understand before making a significant investment. We share this document only with prequalified franchise candidates, so it’s important that we’re both in agreement to move forward with the franchise process.
We will facilitate your research into a Bloom Academy Franchise, and we want you to learn about several key areas of Bloom Academy and the child care franchise business. We’ll schedule a series of informational video calls with you to share information and to answer your questions.
Meeting our Founder, Casey Kennedy, begins a potential life-long relationship with the leader of our Bloom Tribe. Casey lives the Bloom culture, and core values daily. She is a Mom, a business owner and manager, and a staff mentor who exemplifies the characteristics of courage, passion, caring, business acumen, and commitment to her family, team, customers, and her community, the attributes we seek in our Bloom Franchisees.
Next, you have the opportunity to get to know our founder and the Bloom Academy leadership team while gaining an understanding of their qualifications and experience in growing the brand.
You will also meet the Franchise Support Team to discuss various functional areas with the person on our team responsible for supporting you as a franchisee. We’ll also tour a Bloom Academy to give you a live in-person look into our business and your potential business.
Make it official! Sign and submit the Franchise Agreement so we can officially welcome you to the Bloom Academy Tribe. Once you sign your Franchise Agreement, you officially begin the exciting process of opening your very own Bloom Academy childcare franchise.
The Bloom Academy operations team begins working with you from the day you sign your franchise agreement. We are by your side through every step of the school opening process to help you feel ready to share the Bloom culture on opening day.
Your Bloom Journey begins with a franchise orientation that covers everything from site selection and real estate to marketing, insurance, human resources, hiring, and everything in between.
Just like buying home, the location you choose for your Bloom Academy child care franchise is one of the most critical decisions you’ll make. We work with you and our strategic real estate partner to identify key location attributes and requirements to begin your search, narrow your options, and ultimately work closely with you, as you select an approved location.
Whether you’re building from the ground up or building out an existing space to our brand and operations standards, the operations team and our school development resources will guide you through each step of the construction process. This includes school design, project management, contractor selection assistance, and equipment & décor purchasing to help you open your school on-time, on-budget and ready to Bloom!
Our Bloom Academy Training Team provides all franchises with comprehensive pre-opening training on the processes and procedures that are critical to operating your Bloom Academy school successfully and in compliance with our brand and operations standards. Trainees are introduced to every element of school & business management, the Bloom curriculum and education standards, the school operating system and technology, local marketing, facility and classroom layout and decor, and more. We our comprehensive new Franchisee Training is designed to cover topics to help you run your school successfully to our operations standards and that your opening day blooms to exceed your expectations!
The Bloom Academy marketing agency will work closely with you to develop and execute Bloom brand marketing campaigns with a focus on your local market. Your marketing team will support you in everything from media outreach, social media and traditional and digital advertising.
The support you receive from our Franchise Support Team doesn’t stop once you’ve opened your doors! In fact, it’s just beginning! Your success is our success and we’re committed to providing you with the expert advice and support you want and need for the life of our partnership together.
The big day is finally here, and we’ll be right there at your side. Big events require careful planning and our franchise support team and marketing agency will work with you to begin planning your big day months before your Grand Opening. We’ll make recommendations for proven opening day strategies including media, incentives & marketing, and then work with your team and your budget to execute a grand opening event that will be memorable, profitable, and provide your new Bloom Academy with a great start toward sustained success in your local market.
